Barn Bowl

My friend Chris from work rents a barn for his horse. The barn has a lot of flea market and garage sale stuff in it from the previous renter. He invited me and V to rummage through it to see if there was anything we might like to have...no charge...most of it is kinda junky, but we did manage to find some stuff we thought we would want to have (clean up, fix up, whatever) and among them was this old bowl. It was worn and had some ugly paint along the inside rim. V spent some time sanding all the ugly off and getting it smooth for restaining. We think it's a handmade bowl since the bottom has a flat spot. (That's kinda cool). I restained it with a stain sealer and now it's a really nice bowl that sits on the dining table with potpourri in it. The pictures show the transformation and final result. I love it~thanks Chris!!!!
